Cyclone Kenneth which made landfall on Thursday evening with the strength of a category 4 hurricane has killed five people and now causing extreme flooding in parts of northern Mozambique, with water waist-high in some areas.

Kenneth is coming just six weeks after Cyclone Idai which ripped into central Mozambique killing more than 600 people.
The UN World Food Program has said that Cyclone Kenneth could dump twice as much rain as Idai did.
Mozambique is struggling with one of the world’s highest poverty rates and many livelihoods have been lost following the storm.
