Myanmar-Two Reuters journalists regain freedom

Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo, the two journalists arrested in Myanmar in December 2017 have been released.

The two journalists were reporting on the September 2017 massacre of 10 Rohingya Muslims in conflict-hit Rakhine State, at the time of their arrest and charged for violating the official secrets act, with both sentenced to seven years each.

Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo, walked out of prison Tuesday, after being granted presidential amnesty, following a global campaign for their release.
