The election of Governor Adegoyega Oyetola upheld by Appeal Court-says Adeleke has no case

The Court of Appeal in Abuja, on Thursday, upheld the election of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun state, nullifying the tribunal judgement that declared Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the valid winner of the September 2018 elections in the state.

The Court of Appeal in a four-to-one decision declared the proceedings of the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal void.

The judgement was declared by Justice Jummai Sankey of the Court of Appeal.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said it will appeal the judgement.
