The pilot of Myanmar flight UB-13 has made an emergency landing at the Mandalay airport in Myanmar, after the landing gear failed, saving all 89 passengers on board.

He had to adhere strictly to the instructions on the landing procedures and also had to discharge some fuel to reduce the aircraft weight, which enabled him to negotiate a fairly safer landing.
The nose of the plane was said to have hit the ground, for lack of tyre-system in the front area.
