Defamation-Atiku demands a public apology from the president’s aid, Lauretta Onochie

Abubakar had threatened to institute a N500million suit against Onochie through his lawyer, Mr. Mike Ozekhome, SAN.

This is following a defamatory publication made by Onochie on May 7, that the former vice-president was on a United Arab Emirate (UAE) watch list and that he was shopping for terrorists in the Middle East, thereby portraying him as a terrorist.

Atiku’s lawyer, Mr. Mike Ozekhome, SAN, had said that his client was not and had never been on the watch list of the UAE or any other county and that the story is most misleading, baseless, false, malicious and totally bereft of any foundation.
