British court seizes newly discovered Abacha loot worth £211 million

According to SaharaReportes, a British court has seized money laundered by former Nigerian military dictator, Sani Abacha from a bank in Jersey, Channels Island.

The money worth £211 million was put into an account owned by Doraville Properties Corporation, a British Virgin Island company in Jersey.

The money will be held by the government until authorities in Jersey, the US and Nigeria agree on how it would be distributed.

Sani Abacha was a Nigerian military officer and military president of Nigeria between 1993, until his death in 1998, during this period, he laundered money through the United States to the Channels Island.
