Nigerian Professor dismissed by a Ghanaian university over ‘inciteful comments’

Prof. Augustine Uzoma Nwagbara, a visiting Nigerian professor of English has been sacked by the University of Education Winneba, Ghana over comments he made in an inciteful video which went viral.

The university in a statement on its website on Wednesday said it took exceptions to the comments made by the professor in the viral video.

Prof. Nwagbara was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly inciting the Nigerian community in Ghana’s to device strategies to destroy Ghana’s image internationally, but was later granted bail.
