Tyler Perry’s new Atlanta studio to host the 2019 Miss Universe Pageant

Tyler Perry’s 134-hectare (330-acre) new Atlanta studio has been announced as the venue for the 2019 Miss Universe Pageant.

The $250 million studio will host women from more than 90 countries on Sunday, December 8, 2019, who will compete for the crown of Miss Universe and will be beamed live across the world.

The current Miss Universe, Catriona Gray of the Philippines, will crown her successor at the event.

Tyler Perry had a grand opening of his massive studio back in October with 800 guests including A-list stars like Viola Davis, Ava DuVernay, Oprah Winfrey, Whoopi Goldberg, Halle Berry, Samuel L. Jackson, Tiffany Haddish and Stacey Abrams, honouring the opening.
