Facebook is closing its London offices until Monday after an employee who visited from Singapore was diagnosed with Coronavirus.
The employee based in Singapore visited the social media giant’s office between February 24-26 and was later diagnosed with COVID-19.
Employees have been told to work from home through the weekend and the company has also advised those who came into contact with the infected employee to self-quarantine and monitor themselves for any symptoms.
“An employee based in our Singapore office who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 visited our London offices February 24-26, 2020,” Facebook said in a statement.
“We are therefore closing our London offices until Monday for deep cleaning and employees are working from home until then.”
